CNC Machine Tools

Early in my career, I worked as a software engineer on the development and modernization of control systems for precision milling and engraving machines. It was a fascinating time when I could walk downstairs to the workshop, see my code in action, and get direct feedback from production workers.

What made this project special was the immediate, tangible impact - watching machines execute tasks with improved precision and efficiency based on the software we built. Even though I wrote the code more than 20 years ago, it’s still running today, playing a crucial role in the daily operations of many machines.
